Hello! International Producitivity Consulting (IPC), together with the Mauritius Institute of Public Administration, Mauritius Sugar Producers Association, Mauritius Employer Federation, AHRIM and Quality Systems Training and Consulting, Singapore are organising the International Quality Circles Convention 1998 (IQCC' 98) to be held between 4 to 6 August 1998 in Mauritius. Working on the theme "Harnessing the Workforce for Competitiveness in the next Millennium", the convention will be opened by the Prime Minister. The Chairman of the Convention is the Minister of Industry.

This mega quality event will bring together Productivity and Quality experts, Quality Circle practitioners and enthusiasts from all over the world.

The IQCC is targeted particularly towards the African and Indian Ocean countries to foster unity within diversities through QCCs and to provide a forum for the exchange of new ideas, knowledge and valuable experiences.

We expect good participation from companies in Asia and the African region. Hence, the IQCC is a great place to establish contacts and to look out for business opportunities. Mauritius itself is a free trade zone with reduced or nil tariff for goods exported to Africa. Free trade agreements with Europe is also practised and there is zero tax for pioneer status companies.
