Have you heard of or had contact with Richard Decker of Water Mill Long Island, N.Y. that says he has the solution to repairing the problem of mainframe computers? Thank You.

No, but he can join the long list of geniuses who have devised the "silver bullet" that's going to solve the Y2K problem. Far from being a general fix, most of these "cures" are very limited in scope. Don't place too much hope in anyone who proclaims they can "solve " the Year 2000 problem. There are too many variables in the equation for a "one-size-fits-all" solution.
