My mother somtimes visits fortunetellers for fun.

most of them are not based on something from ghosts

, rather oriental philosophy "iching"

is iching also can be regarded as superstition ?

my girlfriend is really scared at it.

who do i have to persuade my girlfriend or my mother ?

The "I Ching" is a Chinese System I'm not sure you can call it a Religion. Many Chinese healing techniques and medicine are based on it. It's interesting reading. I read it a long time ago and it helped me understand oriental medicine a little better.

The "I Ching" is indeed a form of asian philosophy. Some folks do treat it like a form of fortune telling....I've given it a good look and I think the fortune telling aspect is exactly what YOU put into it.. Nothing about it should be scary...unless a person wants to live in some sort of silly fear over a philosophy. Now, I find the really interesting question to be your last sentence. "why do I have to persuade my girlfriend or my mother"

What type of persuasion are we talking about here?
