Does anyone know exact date, number of engine, crew members' names, etc. for the last steam powered run on the north end of the Atlanta division (Atlanta-Chattanooga)?

Lamar, I don't know when the last Atlanta Div. run was. But, the photo of 6330 on the "last" Southern train was taken at Citico Yard, Chattanooga on 6/17/53. Somewhere I've heard/read that this train was a Cleveland-Chattanooga local.

Was the Chattanooga-Cleveland-Knoxville line part of the Atlanta Div?

Re: your question about the Atlanta Division. Atlanta controlled (& still does as Georgia Division) the "A" line from Chattanooga out to Ooltewah, TN, about 15 miles, I believe. At Ooltewah, the Georgia Div (former Atlanta) heads south toward Dalton and Atlanta. The Central Division "A" line heads on up toward Knoxville under their control. The "A" BTW is a prefix (or suffix) to the milepost designation.

I don't know what the last run on the Atlanta Division was. The June, 1953 last run was indeed 6330, but it was not a Cleveland-Chattanooga local and definately not a Georgia Div. train. It was a Oakdale- Chattanooga through train running on the CNO&TP.
