For my tests, they requested with & without contrast for the abdomen, stomach & chest. This required 2 sessions to properly administer the tests.

CT Scan = Donut like machine which takes pictures of the area from the top down. You lie still on a table and are instructed when and how to breath by the technician whom you hear through a speaker system.

With contrast = Inject a dye into your system while being scanned Without contrast = CT scan minus the dye
