Paid B.A Forsmall locals or leave them alone?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Elevator Problem Discussion : One Thread

I have heard that The union wants to get paid B.A. And eliminate the part time B.A . What im wondering is this joining small locals to make big locals .and to eleiminate open territory .

And why are all the regional B.A. moved out east for the indiana and illinois the regional is in P.A? Why not in chicago? And why if it is true go to paid B.A. And if they combine locals which would be the reasonable thing to do for this how far would you have to travel to get to a union meeting....

This is just some questions i have asked based on things ive heard from other union brothers .. your input is appriciated

I THINK THAT IF YOU OPEN UP THE AREA'S YOU HURT THE MEMBERS BECAUSE THE PAID AGENT DOESN'T GET TO THE OUTSIDE AREA'S AND THE MEMBERS OUT THERE PAY FOR IT OR IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM TWO DAYS GO BY BEFORE HE CAN GET THERE OR HE HANDLES IT ON THE PHONE WE HAD A LOCAL THAT WAS IN THE CENTER OF THE STATE BUT IT GOT MOVED 60 MILES NORTH BECAUSE THE AGENT LIVED UP THERE AND THE AGENT ALWAYS MADE IT BACK TWICE A WEEK TO SEE US MEMBERS BUT WHEN A NEW AGENT WAS ELECTED HE FORGOT ABOUT US AND WE ARE ON OUR OWN WE KNOW WE ARE SECOND AND IT SUCKS . AND THE COMPANYS ALSO KNOW THIS WHICH REALLY SUCKS I THINK IT IS A SHAME.
