Still can't find any information on how the elevators work on the ride in these web pages anyone with Tech. data for the job let me know . Or maybe someone who installed these will know I heard IUEC guys installed these units? If so do we maintain them to? Also does anyone know who maintains the elevators at Disney A company or do they do it in house.

Thanks , Steve

Tower of Terror

I read a pretty good article in Elevator World on the Otis "Odessy" system. This pretty much covers the Tower of Terror also. Can't remember the month but elevator-world.com should get you started

It is my understanding that the car is endlessly roped to a gearless machine (Otis) such that it can be pulled in either direction. A "fall" simulated by rapid acceleration in the down direction to a speed considerably faster than the UP.
