What do these test results mean?

That was very interesting reading thank you for the link. I am struck by one thing and that is whenever we test our EMS (Energy Management System) modifictions i.e. Y2k fixes it is done on our offline testbed system before it is ever tried on an online system. For these people to test online and crash their users workstations that allow them the inability to operate and monitor their piece of the E-Grid is ludicrous, Sombody must have caught hell! Our system specs. on any new design always includes a testbed nearly identical to the system that will be online. This fact alone will give us a far better chance of being ready 1/1/00...
