7/20/98 ATI is currently doing some last minute touch up on the tool to increase the flex above the knee.

We are scheduled to start molding the RanDemo material on 7/23.

ATI has come up with some ingenious ways to get contact between hemispheres when cementing the 2 halves together. These knee pads should be testable by RBlade. I will also send one to Martyn for his analysis.

After this trial we will discuss a twin sheet trial and what has to be done to get there.

7/29/98 ATI will begin delivering knee pads on 7/31 Friday. We used .120 TPO which appears to be the stiffness we will need and should be useable for wear testing and a great start in the lab. I will forward a pad to Biomechanica overnight to get the show on the road (along with a RanDemo pad). Meanwhile I will move the mesh in place as fast as possible and move onto a twin sheet tool as soon as test results are in. The PCM CAD file will accurately scale, so we can move on an elbow pad at the same time.
