It will have to do....greenspun.com : LUSENET : Corporate Suckup Forum : One Thread
I was looking for an official Burger King page, so that I might offer some constructive criticism re my experience today at Burger King, but I can't find a link that works. So I'll post my thoughts here.
I live in a medium-sized town with 2 universities, and fast-food stops are are plentiful per square mile. Today I stopped at a Burger King with my son to order a couple of their highly-hyped Rodeo burgers. After standing and waiting my turn, I was informed there were NO Rodeo burgers available, as they had run out of onion rings. This, on their promotional special, and it wasn't even noon yet. So I offered to purchase Whoppers at the same 99 cent price, and was informed they were $1.39 each plus tax (the menu priced them at $1.29, but that's really beside the point). After I had bothered to stop here, at this restaurant where you can't see in the windows for all the posters advertising their .99 Rodeo burger, and to be told it was unavailable, how much business sense does it take to offer an alternative, if desired, at the same price to make a sell and cultivate customer approval??? I told the counterperson, no thank you, we'd go next door.
Well, that's my gripe, for what it's worth.

DID YOU EVER THINK THAT THEY DID NOT EXPECT A BIG TURNOVER AS THEY GOT BUT WHEN YOU HAVE A LOW PRICED MEAL EVERY ONE COMES OUT.

Hey, did it ever occur to you that: 1) They named the 'rodeo burger' after the source of the ingredients--and what do you see in the rodeo ring--that's right--horse and bull s**t and dead cowboys, maybe a couple of gored clowns.
2. Those Burger King managers are probably guys who failed their probationary period working at CompUSA--see the "COMPUSA Sucks Forum".--same general principle.
So maybe it wasn't so bad you went elsewhere--I hope to the golden arches, where food's best !
Yours Truly, Ray.
