Were CofG depots painted (1)light yellow or (2)green with dark green trim? A friend is illustrating some CofG scenes and asked.

My "idea" of a CG depot is a yellowish-biege with dark green trim. Hamilton and Trion were painted in this manner. This is an aesthetically attractive scheme and speaks "Central of Georgia" to me.

But, the depot at Lyerly was white (with a sheet metal patch); the depots at Summerville and LaFayette were "Southern" gray; and the depot at Chickamauga is (yes, it is still there) stone.

I've been told that the depots at Senoia, Raymond, and Luthersville were a dirty brown. Maybe it was freight car red on wood?

The original depot at Pine Mountain in the David Sharpless photos was the "cream and green" and the replacement was asbestos siding white.

Griffin and Newnan were both brick (traditional reddish brick); as are/were LaFayette (AL), Buena Vista, Newnan freight, Griffin freight, and others. The depot at Greenville (which is still standing) is "white" brick.

Several depots on the CG that were of the same construction; Camp Hill, LaFayette (AL), and Buena Vista come to mind.
