We have a cabin in the mountains of colorado. Furnished with a woodburning stove, propane refrigerator stove/oven, water, heater. The pump on the well is powered by solar energy. We have a small system which mainly powers the pump and a few lights. How will that be effected by this crisis and do you think we will fare well out there? We live in the Houston area and I fear mass riots, however out there we are miles down dirt roads and pretty secluded. What about taking off up ther the Christmas of 1999, or is that too late?

You may not want to wait that long...I would consider Thanksgiving 1999 at the very latest...you must watch the smoke signals....be saavy,...be alert. I once thought I had more time and now know I need to be where I'm going by late summer 1999...just need to convince the rest of my family...
