One of my interests is pinhole photography. Has anyone in this forum dabbled, in this esoteric branch of photography, with LF film?

yup, built one out of plywood once, constructed a box that would hold a polaroid film pack as a film holder, the box was long so that i could change focal lengths by moving the film pack , the film pack held a trimmed 4x5 sheet film or paper for paper neg but since i didn't build it to work with a cfh, it has to be loaded in the dark. I couldn't guess the aperture but i made a largish hole in the front of the camera to recieve a tropicana juice bottle cap (interchangeable lenses)and used black electricians tape for a shutter. The camera works well but haven't used it in more than ten years. The pola-pulse is probably leaking all over the inside. It was just a passing fancy like my dabbling in Infrared. Both pursuits did little for my obsession with precision. I did like the "damaged" image that the paper negs gave. I've reproduced the effect through my secret formula for reticulation and it's so much easier than the paper neg method. I'm currently building a 8x10 enlarger, wish me luck.

I use a 1950's MPP Technical camera for my pinhole photography. I have found that a pinhole of about 0.020" (0.5mm) gives a highly satisfactory image at a film distance of 5.5" (14cm) at f256. I've used a polaroid 545i back with some success. It's good fun!
