Journalists: 7 Questions You Need To Ask

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Author Michael Hyatt today (Oct 8) published an article at the Westergaard site entitled:

Where Is Investigative Journalism When You Really Need It

(http://www.y2ktimebomb.com/Media/hyatt9840.htm) Read it carefully. If you've been tasked with a Y2K story, it is an excellent starting point for the types of questions that need to be asked of and answered by those who you are interviewing.

Arnie,

Thanks for that list. I've forwarded it to the local rag, which truly dropped the ball today (see previous posts on Wisconsin National Guard and Utility spokesflak waffles). I can only hope they start asking these and other tough questions, particualarly when it comes to the utilities.
