I'm thinking of getting an Arca-Swiss Discovery as a first LF camera. Anyone out there use one? There seems to be different stories on whether it comes with a fresnel lens. I also have other specific questions to ask, as it seems I can't get any literature about it.

You may want to read this month's Popular Photography review of 4x5 cameras under 1,800. Arca Discovery is one of the cameras in the round up. I personally find this camera to be superb in construction and operation while being quite lightweight for field use. If you want a monorail, you can't go wrong with any Arca product.
