Rick, Thanks. I didn't get to read all of the overtraining article, probably should do that before I post them. But I have no time lately for anything with the tournaments, etc. I did like the point - a lot of the parents think they have to have their kids in clinics, private lessons, etc all week when they're really burning them out and taking their enjoyment of the game away, which is what the kid needs most when it's really time to work if they want to make it. THE KID HAS TO WANT IT! These people think that this is what it takes to make the big time, but almost every pro coach and player I've met feels the opposite and doesn't do this to their kid. There are a lot of good articles, I hope to keep posting them as I find them. The DVHL didn't want me doing the site this year, they said they were going to do their own. I haven't seen it yet. There is some weird stuff at http://dvhl.org and http://www.dvhl.org. I do notice that the Atlantic League (Tier I) which is run by some of the same people as the DVHL has a nice site for their league, so does the New Jersey League and the League up by State College. I hope to have features on our site any time now for the managers to go in and post their own team news, standings, rosters, schedule, results, etc. I want to get this done but have too many irons in the fire. It's almost there but there is a problem I'm trying to resolve at my server.
