i am just curious how the members are doing there. i was branch pres. there. i was wanting to know about an older couple also from elche who use to help me with member work there. their names were Mariano and Fina. i know this isn't really detailed but if you could help me out i would appreciate it. I get phone calls from Charo and Estefania, along with their friends Elisabet and Ester probably every six months or so. I was in Orihuela in 1992, with elder Layman. We were the second companionship to live there as far as I know, right after Smalley and Eckberg. There were only about 13 members at that time, about half of whom were active. We went to Crevillente for church my first Sunday there, and after that we got to meet downstairs in our house at calle Naranjas 8. The last I heard was that there was a capilla now and that the branch was doing pretty well. However, the only people I have spoken with are Charo, Estefania, Elisabet, and Ester.
