OK, guys, here are some thoughts about our project and the next meeting -- please let me know what you think. I'm not sure how the format will work and I apologize for it if it turns out funny! Maybe just copy it and paste into a word program. Thanks.

Group Goal: share information, hear speakers, identify new issues.

Team Goal: for each issue, identify/gather information & sources that can help people plan for:

2 day outage 2 week 2 month ---->

Format: Group meetings two times/month:

main speakers team reports and information sharing identify new issues identify resources within the group (who can Xerox? Who can provide meeting rooms? Who knows speakers and can invite them? Etc.)

Team meetings (frequently): research identify the main questions identify solutions/alternatives identify sources generate information to distribute at group/community meetings and meeting places whatever else you think is helpful

4:00 - 4:15 Introductions 4:15 - 4:20 Announcements (website) 4:20 - 5:00 Identify teams (40 minutes) brainstorm identify main issues set priorities (multivote?) 5:00 - 5:10 Team meetings (10 minutes) - choose leader - set date & place for first meeting - sign up 5:10 - 5:15 Reconvene. - Announce date/location of next meeting and get volunteer leader. Start list of volunter meeting coordinators. - Team leaders identify themselves

5:15 - 5:30 Second opportunity to sign up for teams (if you want to be on more than one team)
