I wish to know exactly what a loan broker can and cannot do. Being that brokers do not fund loans can a broker issue a denial(turn loans down based on credit etc.)? What forms must brokers use to stay in complaince with fair housing laws? Does the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act pertain to loan brokers. Also, if a person is interested in becomiing a loan broker where does one go to learn about the do's & don'ts of a mortgage loan broker? I appreciate any help.
