greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

Hi I would like to know which vivitar lenses were built for the Konica autoreflex. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Vivitar Zoom

I own a Vivitar 70-210mm f4.5 lens, which takes great pictures. It's a little on the slow side, but it is pretty light, yet still well built. That's all I can say about Vivitars, since I have not used any others.

Vivtar lenses for Konica Bayonet II mount

Dear Andy, I'm not sure how many lenses Vivtar made for the said Konica cameras, but I have two that work very well: a 135mm f/2.8 telephoto and a 70-150mm f/3.5 zoom. I also have a doubler for the 70-150mm zoom to make it a 140-300mm. They work very well. I've done some portraits with the 135mm and they've come out well. Also, the 70-150 has been one of my most used lenses for such things as people gatherings. You can zoom in from a distance and get good close-up shots of people's faces. I'm sure there are many Vivtar lenses for the Konica slr mounts being sold out in the used camera and lense market. Just shop around and you can find some good deals. I bought my Vivitar 135mm for just $40 Canadian at a local camera shop. With best wishes, George Repetski
