Fast B & W Film?

An upcoming assignment calls for available light concert photos in a local auditorium. I've metered the lighting and know I'll need an E.I. of 800. My typical B & W is Agfa 100 and I haven't pushed Tri-X in years, didn't like the excessive contrast then. Any suggestion on a film with relatively long scale and moderate grain?

Here's what I would use:

Tmax 400, EI 800, Microphen developer, diluted 1+2, 10 minutes @ 75 deg. F
