Spark nle, is it any good?

Hi,

does anybody have experience using the dps spark nle card with adobe premiere, I4m thinking of investing in the near future and need a few tips everything sounds great on the info sheet, but is it as good as it sounds? I4m working in win 98.

The Spark works quite well under NT 4 or 98 (not 95), the only thing is that the new driver has been a little troublesome. Just use the driver thats on the CD-ROM, not a problem. Its a very transparent device with no conflicts to speak of. I like it.

I worked with Spark and Premiere for a year. Worked great. Never dropped frames. I now have MotoDV which is compatible with Premiere for the "timeline playback" feature. Too bad Spark wasn't compatible. Playing your footage straight out from the timeline to your camera or deck sure makes things a lot easier. I've just finished a "How-To" on DV moviemaking.
