"B' grade will be fullfilled by participating in the Strive program for seniors that are in academic need. I have attended three two hour training sessions and am begaining a mentoring relationship with a student for the year.

"A" grade requirement will be fullfilled by (1) writing an educational article for our local newspaper, the Daily Journal to connect with the community in July 1999. (2) I will attend a conference on family strengthening skills and write a summary of what I've learned and how it applies to education and our communities wellbeing.
