Is there much demand for Freelance Stock photography via the Internet ?

Are there many folks providing an agency type service or a contact for snappers looking for editors/publishers requirements.

I don't know the answer to your question, but i am also interested in possibly making some of my photos available as stock photos. And i think that the internet is a perfect place to distribute them at. So if you find any thing out, would you please let me know. Thanks Jon Potter

I know there is some San Francisco agency which does that sort of thing. Did you look in the Yahoo section for stock agencies? There is also a stock agency in the U.K. which publishes CD-ROMs which extremely high-res scans.

Some of the biggest stock photo agencies in Europe, North America and Japan now have on-line catalogs and databases accessible via the Internet, this is a sure testament to the growing demand for stock through this medium. We are such an agency. Frontline Photo Press Agency located in Adelaide, Australia works by selling stock and news images via the Internet. We look for photographers who can produce high quality images and have the capability to digitize and FTP their work. To find out more about us visit our website at: www.frontline.net.au
