y2k survial (ethanol) Making fuel everyones business.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Millennium Salons : One Thread

Because of a severe fuel crisis in the late 1970's my family and I slipped through the cracks like many tens of thousands of others. Many lives can be saved if you'll share this infromation with them as to how we used a simple wood box (still) some easy recipes..and from leaves...grass..just many different re-newable resources...we learned to make our own fue to heat our home..power our electrical generator..and fuel our car..and truck..please see http://geocities.com/heartland/lane/5515/index.html or http://homepages.infoseek.com/~owens911/index.html by doing so (taking 5 minutes) of your time to read the information we together can help those many millions who can quickly learn how they can save not only their lives but many million of others. We are all going to have to face this demon (y2K) by sharing and caring as you have set a good example already for the rest of us to follow. May your every worthy prayer come to pass.

I like what you say, but I think the info should be sent to the Best of the Best list. I think now, it must be stated, that no, making money off y2k sucks. This form of mercantilism is to be deplored. I see too many examples of this, and on the one hand I think it is good to combine activism with livelihood, on the other hand, people's lives are at stake, as well as the wellfare of all civilization. Besides, if the worst comes, money will probably be worthless. So, there is truly a contradiction and a hypocracy here. David come clean and join the human race.

To: Tom Osher Re: your harsh comments.

Tom, My family & I have contribute (freely) well in the neightborhood of over 50,000 copies of how to make this (ethaol) fuel a life saving resource.

We, see to it that the individual who are in need get a copy asap. As to your not getting a free copy from me ... Your request was made as unkindfull .. as your comments regarding others .. who I'M quite sure are very aware of whats about to come .. and when possible they donate resoureces .. time .. and finanical assistance to those in need. ...If you'd stop demanding free samples..and start helping rather than complaining .. I'm sure many others (including myself) would find it much eaiser to assist you in time of your needs. But, again to demand I give you a copy (as you have ind the past) .. then to attack me in your own usual way .. Just doesn't get it! If you'll spend as much time researhing alternative fuel sources .. as you do complaining .. then share that knowlege with all who need to know .. your comments will draw a lot more respect.

I wish you all the best in any honest attempt you proceed upon. Respectfully,

David C. Owens
