Ok Intel report, If you dont think that this is happining ....

I came a cross a company that has a contract to build something for the US Army. Nothing strange about that untill I started asking questions, I have seen and have photos of shipping contaners aprox.30 feet long the kind that you would see shipped on a flat bed truck , you can carry two of them on a flat bed ,that is how there are being shipped in to there place. there are 40 of these , all brand new all in od green and bearing the a red triangle with the word Force Provider on them , they are marked Property Of the US Army . with them there arejust as many Large Generator Systems the kind that you would use to power a hospital or a large office. that mad me want to know more , also in the compound there is large blue boxes that look to be some kind of power regulator or step down controler. also there is a few 14 fold out contorl room like buildings that are roughly the same size . with all of the strange things with Y2k i had to look closer , i happent to place my self so that when a workman was walking tward the fence i could ask him a few questions. I asked him what he was building and if they were looking for any one to help out, i did not need a job but i wanted to try to get some info , so i started a conversation . it helped , his responce was perplexing , and i am not streching the truth , he told me that they were making latrines and kitchens for the army . I then asked what the genrators were for , he said that they were for the kitchens and the crappers. i then asked why would you need a genrator for a kitchen that big, he then replied that he did not know . Well as i left and took lots of pics so i am not crazy , i have a few questions

1 why would the Army need a steel kitchen, they have lots of stainless ones in stock. there cutting a few holes in this contaniner but nothing like that would be needed for a kitchen . 2 i did not see any crappers , and or any plumbing stuff.

any one have any ideas? mongo

Army's a 24-hour job. Got to go when ya gotta go - daylight or not. Power too for lights, ovens, stoves in the kitchen - its safer to gen electricity (that can be used for other things) than carry fuel for cooking, and still have to gen electricity in the field for other stuff.

The containers should be 8 ft wide, probably have the standard shipping clamps at eight corners, most are 96" high. This way they can ship them easier on standard cargo vessels - since we have no more bulk freighters like the Liberty/Victory ships in WWII.

Could they used for Y2K civilian support? Maybe - but you'd need tens of thousands. And they don't have that much manpower.

By the way, "looking for workers" eh. Guess that means nobody is on welfare in that city, right?

We live near an airforce base. This is the first year that we have observed big old prop planes fly by since we moved here many years ago. One formation of three 4-prop planes that had pods hanging between the engines. Another formation of four DC-3's. And there where others. They were all flying at very low altitudes.

Are we upgrading our equipment?

fly, sounds like maybe downgrading and becoming low tech to me : )

Hey Ron, where are you? It wouldn't be Arizona would it?

I think each of us is becoming more aware of things happening around us and analyzing them. What you saw could mean nothing or it could be part of the government getting ready for martial law. Who knows.

I live in a small community and recently three tanks were brought in and placed where a school is to be built. We were told they are for decoration. The funding for the school is not even finalized. Go figure that one.

I went out and checked these tanks out. They sure do not look loke the tank that is sitting in front of the local VFW. These look to my untrained eye, ready to go.

I asked the question if any other areas had small army sites in their communities. One has opened here in the last couple of years. It made me wonder how many other communities have sites now that did not have them before.

Because of this Y2K situation, everything we see seems to be suspect. It is a good thing we are so nosey because the government is not going to tell us anything.

If we look at Canada's military we can extrapolate. The $24K question is "What is their motivating intention?"

Maybe the other question is "How can we find out?" Meanwhile, pay attention to the leads and clues. Think of this as a "What IS our country up to?" treasure hunt.

I work with Ron and can verify what he says about those containers. The one thing that gives them away is that there are NO shipping tie downs on the corners. We are in Md. Approx 45 miles north of DC. Does that help with the theory of kitchens and crappers?

-- G.L. Warner (skipy@ix.netcom.com), November 24, 1998.

You said it says "Force Provider" on the sides of the containers...it could be for the "Delta Force". They have moved into the central Texas area and are bribing local police forces with Federal monies to allow them to come in and implement training for martial law...such as mock gun confiscations from house holds. A soldier from Fort Hood reported on a talk show locally that the "Delta Force" is on base trying to recruit soldiers into their special force by offering more pay per month, and special medical treatment for family members when the soldires are away on duty, and...a lovely black uniform! (I guess they like to color coordinate the uniforms with the black helicoptors.

That's a rather strong charge there. Have any proof to go with it?

Delta Force does not recruit from local bases. To get into the Special Forces, you have to be a *very* good soldier, passing a test that from what I've read is very, very hard -95% failure rate. Getting into the Special Forces is apparently extremely prestigious- there'd be thirty people applying for every "opening" even if the job paid LESS than the regular military.

So that soldier probably didn't know what he was talking about.

You can call the San Antonio Chief of Police and ask him...they tried to bribe him and he kicked them out of San Antonio...it's documented in their main news paper.

The Delta Force has already done mock gun confiscations in another state ...I think it was Tennessee.

It was reported that the Delta Force was to do drills here in Dec. and Jan., but in fact they are already here gearing up.

Yes, you are right, they don't recruit just your average soldiers. The soldier that called in was already from a specialized group.

Last Sunday (22 Nov.) the sky was clear. We saw more high vapor trails than I've ever seen before, all travelling ESE. Commercial traffic to Florida runs SxE. (seen from Atlanta area)

Tom,

I noticed the same thing on Sunday and also thought it was odd. My next door neighbor works for Dobbins - maybe I'll go see if he knows anything.

I saw mention of this some time ago, but haven't been able to verify it till now: This is from Federal Computer Week of May 18, 1998. Extract:
"NSA has determined that all information detailing DOD's computers and its efforts to fix the Year 2000 problem are a "national security interest" and "highly sensitive." As a result, the Pentagon has cut off the military services and DOD project offices from the Defense Integrated Support Tool (DIST) database, which the Defense Information Systems Agency maintains to provide details on all DOD computer systems and interfaces for use in planning and deployment."

Every little bit helps.

OOPS!

Thought I had that down by now.

Just used "View Source" to look at that post of mine that seemed to lack some html tags -- I can't see anything wrong there. There's an unterminated 'blockquote' at the and of the signature on the post just before it. Would that have any effect? Gotta tiptoe thru minefields here....

Tom;

Me too on the "water tower math".

I only made that calc (the correct one) 4 times a month for 22 years.

We all get bit at times.

Sir Richard of the Dale,

The 4 engine prop cargo plane - with pods between the wings sounds like (as if I could hear it here!) a Lockheed C130, possible the latest J model you guys are buying. You can tell from the props - the J model has curved blades, the earlier ones have straight blades.

Don't know which ones have gay blades. Maybe they fly out of San Francisco and Key West. 8<)

The pods are fuel tanks.

I have no idea what the "DC3" look-a-like is. there are very few of those flying outside of south America, Africa - none for military use, so ????

Correction to earlier information: the mock gun confiscation that took place sometime within the past couple of months was in Maryland, not Tennessee.

-- Texas Terri (TYSYM@AOL.com), November 25, 1998.

Ron and Terri, could you be specific as to location? I would like to check this out. Thanks, Art

-- Arthr Rambo (buriedtreasure@webtv.net), November 26, 1998.

Robert, we have the "eurofighter" over here, its finally flown in public at the UK 1998 Farnborough Air Show, 2 years ago its was still a plywood mock-up. Its another Govt job creation scheme for the likes of British Aerospace and Fokker etc (reminds me of a bad joke), this time pan-european. I think it'll turn out to be another Concorde only obselete before operational. Participating Nations keep disagreeing about commitment, options funding etc, the organisation used to be called FEFA, five europeans f*rting about according to one US commentator, right the button this time. At least its flying and it has the fans inside the engine.

Does anybody here remember A Canticle for Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller? The description above reminds me all too much of a dismal scene in that novel.

As a guess, everything Ron mentions seems consistent with a scenario of pre-positioning emergency resources for critical sites. If so, it's a smart move. If you need 'em, you need 'em bad. If you don't, no harm done. Maryland has many critical federal sites, if I'm not mistaken.
