Drudge report. Serious if it proves true. Y2K on 60 minutes mentioned also. Wonder if there's any Y2K stuff leaked.

Drudge broke the Monica cigar story about a week before it landed in the general press. My bet is its true...

But the most telling point is: (quoting from Drudge)

Two Washington newspaper editors have reviewed the papers, which have been obtained by left-wing reporter Murray Waas.

Waas has been holding the documents close, according to one media insider. Some in Washington speculate that Waas does not want to write a major expose about the Clinton administration in the midst of the impeachment hearings, fueling the flames for conservatives.

(end quote.)

Notice that the left winger didn't want to expose Clinton, so the "free" press hid the story. Again.

Robert: Roger that. What would we do without the net. Even when it gets out in a week or two the spin cycle will be fully primed. Kevlar Clinton.

And Dole for a president (with majority Republican Congress) would be better *how*? They would have spent more on remediation? LOL We'd probably all already have the mark in our forehead if it had been up to Newt and Starr. But of course, correct me if Im wrong...

Who said anything about Dole/Republicans? The point of agreement is that the press, time after time, sits on stories when they should be doing their job. It's widely known and undisputed that they are overwhelmingly of the President's party, and futhermore, the mainstream press is controlled by very few individuals. For some enlightenment on this I suggest Who Will Tell the People by Willaim Greider.

Or: "And That's The Way It Isn't"

*groan* yes it's all true. Being a memeber of the media I admit to being controlled...there you go. Happy? A small chip has been planted in my head, and every time I say something THEY don't like they zap me.

Yes folks, the media....Clinton's Bed Buddies.

Now...how many newspapers was it again that called for him to resign? Oh...I guess that doesn't matter....THEY wanted us to say that.

Rick,

You think you've got it bad! They implanted all of us from the South with chips so that if we talk about anything other than trucks or deer hunting we get zapped. That's why I think that the economy will....ouch, there goes another one. Well, time to go clean my gun, there's bound to be something I can shoot around here...

Yes, and they got all us CS types too. Why else would we sit in front of computers for hours on end when we could be out chasing women and drinking bee OUCH

Gee - I guess I should get to work on that little program they wanted at work yesterday. No one will mind if I stay up all night working on it......

-- Paul Davis (davisp1953@yahoo.com), November 28, 1998.

Doggone it, Rick, you know that giving out our secrets violates the journalist's code of support for the liberal agenda and New World Order. Now we'll just have to rewire your head. Wait a minute, I can't say that in public, no, NO, not the chip zapper !!!

-- JDClark (yankeejdc@aol.com), November 28, 1998.

D**n - so that's why I was sitting here Friday - guess the national machines haven't figured out that if I'm typing while the PC is running that I'm not necessaily always testing something important...
