Free basic foods cookbook and almanac of useful information

Dear friends,

On Tuesday I take delivery from the printer of 4,000 copies of Better Times: a cookbook and almanac of useful information for poor people. It is in a tabloid newspaper format, 36 pages (10 X 16" pages), over 300+ recipes, plus articles of family and community food security, the potential of "hard times comin'", micro enterprise, breast feeding, cloth diapers (lots of very basic info), how to make a buddy burner (an improvised stove made from tuna cans, cardboard, wax, and #10 cans), a bit of spirituality (stress reduction, meditation/contemplation, Catholic context), the advantages of working together with neighbors to solve problems, and other tips for frugal and simple living.

It has been printed with donations for free distribution, so if you would like a free copy, send me a manila envelope (at least 9" x 12" size) with $1.47 US postage on it, and I will send it back to you. If you would like a bundle of 25 or 50 for free distribution, I can also ship that, but I will have to ask you to pay for the shipping.
