operations at Weldon-Garysburg NC.

I would like about the operations between Weldon and Garysburg before the ACL Weldon viaduct was constructed.

I guess what you mean by "operations" is original locations of tracks and how the 4 different RRs* handled traffic, interchange, etc. See the Prince book on ACL for dates and verbal indications, then go see T. G. "Sonny Boy" Joyner in Garysburg. His family's been there for 200 years. He'll show you the old route that swung south to cross the Roanoke River down where the banks are nearly the same elevation. There're no more such "old hands" alive in Weldon. *Clockwise from the north: Petersburg RR, Seaboard & Roanoke RR, Wilmington & Raleigh RR (Wilmington & Weldon), and Raleigh & Gaston RR.
