Anyone have photographs of Graham Claytor's New River 400 in service during the WGC years on the Southern or previously (formerly of P&WV heritge and NYC#301 before that)? Anyone have any info regarding the car - history, stories, anecdotes, etc??? I know about the car's pictures in Ties (the original) and Southern Steam Specials by Ron Zeal.

Mike--I suggest you contact the Virginia Transportation Museum in Roanoke. They have a display there on the 400 along with a large scale model of it built by Southern shop crews. They may have other information. There is a link for their web page on the links page here--Larry
