So, has anybody here bought third edition yet, I am still saving my money until i get more info. Is 3rd edition better than 2nd?

a friend of mine has already gotten it. and i'm about to get it. i've already converted my stuff to the 3rd ed. i think it's alot better. it's quicker. and it's also a little easyer to understand.

My friend bought it within a week of when it came out, and we've been playing those rules ever since. The game does move a lot quicker, they took out a bunch of stuff that made the game slow down, ie. choose a target, armor saves, etc. And they simplified some of their exhisting systems, like removing casualties is up to the person losing them, and armor pen is simply STR + D6, and other things. It is a very different game and is a lil' confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it it is much better.

A lot of the new rules REALLY suck but the new hand to hand combat is REALLY good so ther are ups and sowns to the new edition I like the 2nd better but hey to each his own...
