Hello, and thanks in advance for your help. I work at a company with 58 self-managed teams in heavy manufacturing. A team member in Material Control is working on a BS degree and needs some assistance. His project has to do with the optimal size of teams. He knows it should be less than our largest team (22), but he and I are both stumped as to references that support this gut feeling. We are seeing that such a large team gives the members less chance for personal growth thru participation, etc. Any articles you can point him to? Thanks. Kirsten Asta
