keyboard mechanism - the real weakpoint

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Kurzweil Users : One Thread

I love my K 2500 very much, but it has one real weakpoint - its keyboard. There are the small plastic separators one for each key and they are brokening each by each. I can still play, but the keys makes really nasty knocking sound. I guess I'm not a player with heavy fingers but after every couple of gigs I find some more keys broken. Is there any repairing kit or any other solution? Thank you for any replay.

Urmas, You should contact the dealer where you purchased the keyboard or a service center immediately. There have been problems with the action that Kurzweil purchases from Fatar. Though this has not effected everyone, some keyboards have had some severe issues. Please visit your dealer and the service center so that you can get the replacement parts installed that correct this problem.
