Many Hands Curriculum Box

greenspun.com : LUSENET : M.Ed. Cohort II : One Thread

Since there seems to be an interest in American Indian culture, I thought I would let you know of a curriculum box available through Depot Outreach for classroom use. The Duluth Art Institute's Many Hands curriculum box is based on the 1996 exhibition, Contemporary Art of the Anishinabeg, and features artwork created by members of the Lake Superior Band of Ojibwe. The box contains lesson plans, photographs of the exhibit's participating members and their work, audio tapes, five pieces of contemporary Ojibwe art work and seven related books. The box is offered free of charge and may be checked out for four weeks. The box can be picked up at the Depot, or I can ship it to you for a fee of $16.60 (It's a heavy wooden box!). Send me an e-mail message or phone me at Depot Outreach, 733-7509 if you would like to reserve the box. It is a popular item, but is still available for February, March, or May 1999.
