went to the parish's annual carol sing (interesting as we have sister dioceses in Sudan and Tanzania), then to supper with a lady friend...

Mrs. Deedah shocked the *heck* outta me tonite by throwing me a surprize "Over the Hill" (40) B-day party. I was completely the clueless one, totally surprized by friends and family, some of whom I hadn't seen in three years. I felt a little like George Bailey.

Somedays life is so very good.

Uncle Deedah...Happy 40th Birthday!!!! Wish you the very best! :-) I have another Birthday greeting for you...it is from Gayla. She says to tell you "Happy Birthday!!!" She is no longer posting on this forum.

Happy 40, Unk. Now that I know how young you are I won't hesitate to remind you to have a little more respect for your seniors here (even when we're wrong) ;-).

Go to a party, indeed. Any time you get a chance without abandoning your responsibilities. If there hasn't been one recently enough to suit you, THROW one. Don't miss the dance.

I say this having come from the funeral of a neighbor's son this week, a kid I was really close to for a long time. The only thing that makes it bearable is the long list of good memories I have of the great times we had.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE DEEDAH! Don't know how to do the colors like Gayla.(I hope she comes back from time to time as I looked forward to her imput of some excellent info) We share the same year and the same state! From your previous comments sounds like you married a very special lady. But believe me we are far from over the hill! Diana

Dammit, what is the name of that font up there?

-- No Spam Please (anon@ymous.com), December 20, 1998.

Let's try Courier.

Oh, yuck. Let's see if they have .

-- No Spam Please (anon@ymous.com), December 20, 1998.

A nice light sans serif, that's what we need. Maybe Arial at this smaller size than before? Century Gothic? MS Dialog Light?

-- No Spam Please (anon@ymous.com), December 20, 1998.

Is there a Verdana Light?

Sobered up now.

Hey, UNCLE DEEDAH!.....Happy Birthday! I know, I know, the Mrs. gave you an 'over the hill' 40th birthday party, but be not discouraged, you've heard the saying, after 40 it's just patch, patch, patch!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOURS
