Will we have electricity - interview with Rick Cowles

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Here is an interview with power expert Rick Cowles conducted by Drew Parkhill of CBN. It is a long and comprehensive look into the question of if we will have electricity in 2000. It will take you some time to read and digest it, but I think you will agree that this ranks as one of the best informative articles regarding the power industry in a long time. Then check out what Bonnie said, the two weeks apparently means only until critical mass of problems develops. Maybe I'm wrong. Check it out. It's a good forum.

Gilda: I have been over to Rick's site many times, though not recently, but have not checked out his forum...yet, thanks for the info.

Drew: Keep up the good work. It is information like this that will help people to get a better understanding of what is involved and, as you know, good information is always at a premium. especially regarding Y2K.

Forum: The interview, although long, is very interesting and also an easy read due to the Q & A format. It prints out at 23 pages. It will be time well spent, IMHO. Rob.

The heavy traffic to the site for the hotlink above seems to be over this morning. If you haven't yet read this interview becasue you had trouble getting through when I posted it yesterday, you should be able to get it now, so try again if you want.
