Gary North site

Gosh, I guess Paul doesn't have enough to do....now he's got to go to somebody else's neighborhood and sling stones.

Country living isn't the same as city living. It's hard. It's physical labor. It requires planning and resourcefulness. Generalists who have high adaptability do best in the country -- specialists wither.

I wonder why Paul Davis is so down on rural people and the country? A bias? An agenda?

In actual practice, its probably better to just go to http://www.coolpages.net/2000, and from there click on forums for a whole bunch -- including North's, and including this one (TimeBomb 2000).

Paul Davis, where is your grave dug?

-- Arthur Rambo (buriedtreasure@webtv.net), January 07, 1999.

Shucks and dawgone. Honest to Pete, cross my heart, I don't have an agenda. Just call em like I see em. I was feeling a little full of mischief the other day, while I ate dinner, so I told them how hard country life really is. So they did not like it. Big deal.

Now my WIFE has an agenda. She is wanting to save money like mad for the next couple of years. See, she figures a lot of property in the country will be going cheap about that time - and she is a country girl who always wanted to move back to the country.

BTW Rambo, I suppose it is in the family plot in Ohio County, KY. Why did you ask?

-- Paul Davis (davisp1953@yahoo.com), January 08, 1999.

Yes, Paul, thanks to your amazing post over at GN's Relocation forum, I'm sure that they are all now going to move to New York City! Probably this year, too, so they can get the full benefit of the New Years Eve bash!!

It came to mind when you told other people to dig theirs.
