I've seen starts for plumerias at the airport in Lihue - will they grow very large in pots here in Indiana and will they ever bloom for me?

As long as you bring it in from the cold of winter. See this page for growing instructions (http://www.io.com/~jrm/plum002.htm).

Plumerias love arid conditions. Ideally, they thrive in full sun while a good water source is a definite plus. Intense cold will in all likelihood damage the plant. They usually defoliate in winter and bloom in spring and throughout the warm months.
