Pentax LX, 135mm lens + Extension tubes, handheld. Fuji Velvia. Large aperture opening for "zero depth-of-field" effect. Used the normal exposure of the center-weighted meter to expose. PS: If it is not the correct name, please let me know.

Very beautiful composition. One of your better shots imo.

Very nice indeed! I especially like the highlighted curve in the centre/right. I think I'd like a further increased contrast between the fore- and background though.

At what magnification was this taken?

Bahman,

AAAAAHHHHHHHH.......more inspiration :)

My very minor nit pick. The out of focus light green area to the left of the leaf I would prefer not to be there. I love the contrast of the point and the darker green. Also I love the way the bottom right part of the leaf curves and fades. My symmetrical mind would like to see the same on the same curve and fade on top. BTW... minor nit picks only. I really love this shot.

Ralph: The lens was a standard 135mm/f-2.5 Takumar and the extension tube to the best of my knowledge was a 36mm vivitar.

Beautiful! I love the way the pointed part of the leaf curves into the frame and slices it diagonally. The yellow/green highlighted curve is very sensual. The sharp point contrasts nicely with the soft background.

I can think of no additional superlatives to those already stated. I share the view that this is one of the best of your postings. Great work!

Bahman,

You have an astonishing ability to find beautiful and dramamtic patterns in plants of all sorts, please keep it up.
