I am looking for best possible photo prints. Anyone have any quality compairison knowledge between Canon BJC5000 and Epson Stylus Photo EX. Banding is a concern. Two items selected to enable prints over 8x10.

I've seen the Photo EX output, it's pretty incredible, no banding that I could see, even in areas of subtle shading. Haven't seen the BJC 5000 yet, so can't comment on that one. (We hope at some point to have printer reviews here too, but with the current work load, who knows when...)

BTW, Epson is rumored to be coming out with two new units that upgrade the Photo EX technology with variable dot-sizes, for even higher image quality.
