It finally came!!! (I ordered it 2 weeks ago and and was getting impatient). It is the most incredible Y2K investment I've made.

The finish and detail are really nice. I had a little trouble figuring out how to use it as I'm not the most mechanical person.. I called their tech support and they were the sweetest people. Had me running in under a minute. I'm going to get a few more to use as lighting/heating devices since the lantern can heat a small room. I'm trying to figure a way to get my wife to let me hang it up in my den... She's still in Y2K training!

It sucked up until last week when they put a new one up. The new one is kinda cool and has pictures but the technical support section is still "under construction"

I also found a source for the Katadyn water filters. It's a place called Black Mountain Supply. (I don't have their web site URL handy, but will re-post)
