Gentlemen, I thought you might like to read this short article about how to keep abreast of the Y2k problem and any planning, meetings and problems occurring locally. "The Minuteman Reporters" http://www.y2ktimebomb.com/Media/creg9904.htm I am a concerned local citizen and often spend my evenings searching for honest and useful information that may help both my family's and my community's Y2k preparedness and contingency planning. I feel we do need continuous local coverage of what is going on. Many readers of "The Guard" do not have internet access and rely solely upon your printed material for information not covered by TV news. I feel you are doing all of us a disservice by not regularly and continuously covering Y2k issues on the Global, National, State, County and Local levels. This is YOUR opportunity to be the Local source of information. Many cities across the nation are recommending to their citizens to prepare for 14 days of self-sufficiency. I haven't seen 1 article in "The Guard" about this. Please, let me know how I can help.
