I'm getting married soon and would like a non-traditional wedding (i.e. not in a church)...forget just taking a honeymoon to Hawaii--I'd like to get married AND have my honeymoon there! Know of any nice/creative places on Oahu for this event?

You could always get married and hold the reception in our yard (that's where Teri and I got married 8)))) Other than that, there are parks, public or secluded beaches, on a catamaran, on a small island off shore or sites up in the mountains. Try this site as they have a lot of info on weddings in Hawaii. It is really pretty comprehensive---The Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau (http:/ /www.visit.hawaii.org/).
