I'm in the construction business and we jokingly say the State Bird is the crane. Get it? The building crane. At least that's what we hope for. It keeps us employed.

I do know the State Bird is the Nene.

Actually the nene is not the state bird. It is the bumble hawk which is pretty much rare. I will sell one on E-bay sometime next month
