Not many folks are planning to do much, eh? Hey, my new issue of Home Power arrived today.

Ship of fools seems apropos, with one exemption of course. You guess who.

Isn't it strange that what most people say that they fear the most is, US? The likelyhood of me getting hopped up on Tang and baked beans and heading out on a shooting spree is zero. Do these people really believe what they're saying? Wow! Apparently, we all want our jobs and security to disappear so badly that we'll create a problem. That makes a lot of sense...

Paul Sarto says, "It would be foolhardy to load up on survival food and run to the hills. It would be foolish to sell your tech stocks and buy gold. But consider the possibility (however unlikely) of a major glitch and plan accordingly." How contradictory can you get: on one hand, it's foolish to stock up on food, check the safety of your shelter and have cash on hand; and on the other, plan for a major glitch. Maybe I've missed something in my preparations. Exactly how does one plan for a major glitch? Proverbs says, "A foolish man either laughs or rages." Sarto is an example of the former. Linda

Sir Declan,What's the link/ordering process for "Home Power"? Haven't seen it on newstands, distribution sheets, etc.

Sir Robert,Home Power was www.homepower.com last I checked (sorry, don't do hotlinks yet and I forgot print off the instructions when I saw them)
Sir Declan,
I'm behind on my research - was planning on the whole weekend but missed the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair last summer due to family emergency. And a do it myself is looking rather overwhelming at this point. Do you have any info on the drop shipped systems ad that I've seen in H P? Ad claimed to consolidate orders for volume discounts.
Heck, any pearls of wisdom on renewables you'd be willing to share would be appreciated
Thanks jh
