If Mexico, especially Mexico City, has serious disruptions, will this cause a mass migration of refugees to the US? What effect could this have on Texas,New Mexico,Arizona, and California?

Answers

The same effect that massive Hispanic immigration, both legal and illegal, has already had on those states, only worse.

Cody

Why haven't you written to me since our last tiff? I am still hungry for your loving. You are a tease, so much talk about tops and bottoms before, now you are quiet.

Why?

We have a long memory here in Texas. We remember the Texas war of Independance. We also remember the conditions settled at the end of that war.

The Texans all agreed to stay north of the Rio Grande and the Mexicans all agreed to stay south of Canada.

Errr...Ummmm....What exactly are you infering by the phrase "Funny Uncle"?

Have I been insulted?

-- Uncle Deedah (oncebitten@twiceshy.com), February 15, 1999.

Uncle Do Do, you're insulted only if you're one of them faggets. If you're not, why did you even respond? Perhaps you are one of THEM? Are you?????

If you live in the states that border with Mexico, consider moving north. There is a very strong Atlzan (sp?) movement that wants Calif, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas BACK.

These guys have probably been smuggling arms and guerilla fighters across the border for years, and it only got a lot easier under NAFTA (damn few of the trucks that cross the border from Mexico get inspected; figure that some of them contained arms/etc).

If you stay in those states, better organize, and stock up heavily on ammo; you may need it.

Hey you, unsure of yourself?

I got nuttin against peaceful people, no matter who they sleep with, even if they want to sleep with you!

If ya just wanna insult me though, don't be such a pussy about it, girlfriend.

Sheesh, ya try and make a funny, and those who are unsure of their leanings take it the wrong way. No wonder they bash fags, so afraid that they may like it if they don't lash out against it.

Folks, this is a serious problem, regardless of Y2K.
Reason: Violent live volcanoes very close to Mexico City,
plus the overcrowded polluted metropolis is built on a sinking lake bed and earthquake faults.

I was born and lived in Tucson, Arizona for my first 24 years. I very much liked the Mexicans, who were more numerous than whites. They were friendly, sweet, good-natured, close-knit families, humble and devout, played joyous music and cooked delicious meals and wove beautiful clothing. That from a child's eyes. Nothing since has caused me to become jaundiced or prejudiced in my view. Hope many Mexico City dwellers are able to bug out and re-establish themselves in the many beautiful rural areas available in vast Mexico.
