Oh sure, it figures I'd goof up on a hotlink explaining how to do hot links. Let's try again:http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=000M SA

That's why I just type (or paste in) the URL text. I'v screwed it up myself, here, before.I don't recall how Microsuck's Internet Explorer works, but with Netscape, it's no big deal to get to a link.
Just copy the URL off the page, paste it to the Location window, and press
. Mouse pointer at left end of URL, left click, run mouse pointer to end of URL, press
, move mouse pointer to "Location" window, press , (edit if necessary), press Anyone that has used Windows for more than a week should be able to do that without dicking around with HTML tags to make the link text hot.
This is something that actually works reliably with Windows. :-)

Arnie, let's both quit -- wouldn't you know I screwed up my post above, too.Anyway, to repeat:
That's why I just type (or paste in) the URL text. I'v screwed it up myself, here, before. I don't recall how Microsuck's Internet Explorer works, but with Netscape, it's no big deal to get to a link from just a text URL. Just copy the URL off the page, paste it to the "Location" window, and press "Enter".That is: Mouse pointer at left end of URL, left click, run mouse pointer to end of URL, press "Ctrl-C, move mouse pointer to "Location" window, press "Ctrl-V , (edit if necessary), press "Enter" Anyone that has used Windows for more than a week should be able to do that without dicking around with HTML tags to make the link text hot.
