It appears that PS4 doesn't rip without first converting to CMYK, so that even if one wanted to rip an rgb file to rgb tiff, the color space would be negatively affected by the conversion to cmyk. Is this correct and is there a workaround? Who thought that this was a good idea if its true?

Answers

The Export Image dialog lets you export the image (TIFF or PostScript) RGB or CMYK TIFF. Just select RGB as the export file format.

I believe that creating RGB tiffs is impossible without first converting to CMYK when using PosterShop. However wrong and rediculous this sounds, it appears to be the case.
