Personal preparedness Web sites

Someone asked in a message yesterday if we could set up a place on this forum for preparedness information. Here are some Web sites, from basic to involved, on the subject:

American Red Cross -- Disaster Supplies Kit

FEMA -- Emergency Food and Water Supplies

Roleigh Martin's Y2K Info and Prep brochure for anonymous mailing

Individual Preparation for Y2K

With commonsense planning, you can survive hard times

How-To Survival Library

Community Preparation - The Cassandra Project

Kevin, Thanks. It seems like ages ago that someone posted "Cool Sites" and it was a big help. I appreciated your updated new sites. Melinda++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have been lurking long enough! LOL!!! I have had a website up for my 1000's of links on all kinds of self sufficiency resources. Preparedness and Y2k links on one page, but several on homeschooling, homesteading, etc etc...

Please no spamming me!! This is just my little way of passing on other people's work and this is my first time posting here... I have enjoyed everyone's posts regardless of where on the scale of 1-10 you think Y2K will land us all... :-) Terri

The National Guard site should be added to this list. www.nationalquard.com (I think)

That link doesn't work; This one did, and went straight to your page.

BTW: Good site. Thanks for the link.
