I am hoping that someone out there could help me locate the history of the current CSX Track Geometry car ?

Answers

I belive that the car is a former Western Railway of Alabama 10/6 Sleeper Alabama River. The car was modified in the mid to late 80's as was the track inspection car Georgia, which was also a former WPR coach before being bought by the GA R.R in the early 70's. Both cars were bought for the Cresant which ran over the WPR from Atlanta to Mongomery.
